The Transport Department is consulting various members of the public to discuss the possibility of implementing a new driver’s license test process.
The graduated license scheme consists of three different test stages before a driver will obtain a full license.
The Department’s Logan Maistry said the scheme aims to reduce the number of accidents.
“As part of the decade of action for road safety from 2011 to 2020…various proposals have been introduced to tackle the carnage on our roads,” he said.
